October 2014 member of the month

Congratulations to McAllister Castelaz (DMD 2017) for being selected as ASDA member of the month for October! Nominated by her fellow ASDA crew, McAllister has been part of the FUNdraising committee since her first year at BU.

When asked about why she loves ASDA, McAllister said “Through ASDA I have met people from all aspects of our GSDM community and gotten to know our school more. It's been such a positive experience for me; the support and sense of community ASDA brings is awesome!”

Her love for ASDA is almost as great as her love for chocolate and that was realized when McAllister recently visited Hershey, PA for the first time! She toured the infamous Hershey’s Chocolate World and got to sample some pretty delicious chocolate!

When she is not studying, McAllister enjoys baking. If she didn’t go to dental school, she probably would’ve opened a bakery.

McAllister has great ideas for her committee and is “looking forward to continuing to work with my committee and our chapter as a whole to make everyone's experience at GSDM as positive and memorable as mine as been so far!”
