![]() CONGRATULATIONS TO PABLO! Pablo Mora, DMD ‘20, is our Summer 2017 Member of the Month. We have been so impressed with his involvement in ASDA after becoming class representative of his class. His contribution was essential in making the Big Brother / Big Sister event a huge success. We are looking forward to seeing more of his enthusiasm for ASDA in the future! To learn more about Pablo, we asked him some questions! Check it out below: Where are you from? I was born in Bogota Colombia but moved to the States soon after my third birthday. Currently my hometown is just outside Philadelphia in a town called Paoli. What do you do in your free time? Besides catching up on all of my favorite HBO and Netflix shows, you can also catch me feasting at Orinoco or other local Boston restaurants. After big exams, I usually will de-stress with some Nintendo games such as SMASH. It’s almost become a sort of a ritual among some of the DMD 2020’s. What’s on your bucket list? I definitely need to travel the world more than I already have. Ideally I would like to backpack across South America or Europe, which is something I’ve always longed to do. Maybe I’ll even make it related to my career at some point in time. Additionally, I would like to pick up the violin again. While not really a bucket list item, since I have already learned how to play the violin back in my awkward youth, it’s always been something I have really enjoyed. What would your last meal be? There is this Cuban dish that I think everybody needs to try at least once in his or her lifetime. It’s called Vaca Frita, which literally translates into fried cow. Don’t let the name scare you; it truly is a meal worth being its last. Favorite ASDA Moment? I attended the ASDA leadership conference in Portland Maine while I was completing the OHS program here at BU. It gave me a chance to take a glance at what ASDA is all about. It was also at this event that I knew I would like to become further involved with the organization. Additionally, Portland is an amazing little town full of outdoor activities and fun things to do. It makes for a getaway to escape the perils of dental school. Any Last Words? To infinity and beyond
