The Predental Committee reaches out to both high school and college students that express an interest in any dental related profession. It sponsors events pertaining to dental assisting, dental hygiene, and dentistry. They look forward to answering any questions you might have pertaining to the dental application process or the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Jessica was born and raised on the south coast of Massachusetts. She came to Boston University after completing her undergraduate degree at UMass Amherst. During her time at UMass, she went through the process of applying to dental school and choosing which school to attend. To say that this process was stressful would be an understatement. While visiting BU, she had the opportunity to interact with students who made her decision to attend this school very easy. Jessica is excited to show prospective students what a tight knit community exists here at BU GSDM. She is looking forward to the upcoming year and playing a larger role in #BUASDA!

was born and raised in Cleveland, OH. She attended Miami University for undergrad and then received her master’s degree from Case Western Reserve University. Because of her untraditional path to dental school, she knows how important it is to be part of a strong pre-dental community. She knew that she wanted to work with pre-dental students, and from there she caught the ASDA fever! Kellie enjoys walking/running around Boston, hanging out with friends, and petting dogs. She is excited to get to know her future colleagues through the pre-dental committee!

Originally from San Diego, California, Laura moved out to Boston in order to go to BU undergrad to study Human Physiology. Instantly, she fell in love with the city and the school. After undergrad, Laura then pursued a Master’s Degree in Oral Health Sciences at BU before coming to BU Dental. Clearly, she can’t get enough of this school and this city! Being a part of the first generation of her family to earn a bachelor’s degree, and navigating her way around a new city was difficult and it took a lot of support from friends and family for her to reach my goals. Through the Pre-Dental committee, she hopes to offer support and a friendly face to as many prospective students as possible. BU Dental is special for many reasons, one of them being the students that comprise the community, and Laura wants to inspire those around her in the same way BU and Boston has inspired her.
